Hi guys, i've read a lot about injectors recently and how they can become problematic once they start to get dirty. My car's a 2004 V70 D5 70,000 miles and the question i'm looking to be answered is: do i need to be using an injector cleaner in the fuel, has anyone noticed any significant benefits and if so which one?. I've started using Shell Formula V diesel to see if there are any benefits?? Any ideas please. Simon12

I would`ve though using good fuel & revving it to the redline once the car has warmed up properly would keep the injectors in good order.

When I was in the garage we used good old redex (for diesels!) put it in more concentrated than the botttle says and take it for a good thrash up the motorway. Always got diesels through the MOT smoke test! I still use it occasionaly in my old Transit.
