:animal-smiley-037::animal-smiley-037::animal-smiley-037::animal-smiley-037:I have a B18 with a single weber and a fuel injected head. No idea of what cam is installed so lets assume it's stock meaning the correct cam for a B18 with twin SUs. I am about to retrofit twin SUs, recently rebuilt for me by Rhys Kent of Victoria B.C., so I really didn't need to mention the Weber so forget that part-shall I go on or has all that brake cleaner fogged your thinking? It has mine. Anyway, the last time I adjusted the valves to the factory spec for a stock engine I got a lot of valve chatter, runs fine just noisy. Could be my own incompetence or maybe just the incorrect specs considering the fuel head. Here's the question, thought I'd never get there eh? What spec would you all recommend I use to set the adjustment (warm) taking into account the fuel injected head? Has anyone else out there running the same set up? If so what do you do?

HI, Cold AND warm spec for a B20E head on BOTH inlet & exhaust valves is 0.40 - 0.45 mm. (0.016-0.018"). Gordon

I set mine using the 'clickadjust', much quicker than the traditional method, just set one valve, remember the number of clicks needed.. then set the others to that number! takes into account rocker wear.

I always use this very accurate method. Works great for my '73ES. Better than the short cut original method. It makes my ES run much sweeter. More useful tips on that site:
