Still a novice to this whole thing so please excuse my lame questions... 1.) Something strange happened...it seems that my single key keyboard shortcuts such as T-zoom in R-zoom out are not enabled...what's going on? 2.) Also, another strange thing is that when I am in Grid mode...the blue lines of the grid are not displayed anymore....whahappen?

1. You're not in Command Focus mode (hit the correct a..z button) 2. You toggled the grid lines off by clicking the timeline header to the left of the timeline. Rail

matsukubo, Welcome.. 1) press the little "a..z" button. You'll be in Command Focus 2)click in the min/sec or other time line box at the top left section of the edit window. This will un-hide the grid lines..or set "display grid" in preferences. happy tooling,
