I appreciate any help you can give! I have a mac g3 b/w, 256mg, 400mhz, and have been running into an error message when I try to record audio/midi into Logic Platinum. The error message is: Error code -6031 was returned by the Direct I/O driver Anybody know how I can resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Arsenio, It could have something to do with the version of Logic you are running. Recently the 4.5.x versions have been really bad and doing crazy stuff such as corrupting the Direct I/O INIT driver e t c. My suggestion to you is that you down-grade to Logic 4.3.x or even 4.0.x. Make sure you replace the Direct I/O INIT driver with the one found on the ProTools 5.x LE disc (should be distributed with your 001). Run the Test app (can't remember the name) and try to se what happens. /O
