I need to perform a classically oriented piece of music that is very precise in some parts and has huge slowdowns in some other parts that should be done without click. Is there a way to tell a metronome/click to shut up after certain amount of bars? Or should I just bounce it and then chop it up? Speaking of which, how do I bounce a click track in Reaper. Thank you

You could use metronome items. It's called "Click source" in the Insert menu.
