a funny thing happend to me the other day.. my dam protools kept crashing!! oh lord have mercy on this old tdm system(1998 888/24 mix core)...i dont know what happened. i read somewhere on here that pt is having issues with that quicktime 7 so i uninstalled that and still kept getting kernal errors when i launched pt. this is really putting a damper on my social life. im frustrated, arguing with my wife.."well did you save it??" uggh. thats the last thing you wanna hear when things arent working out for you. any how i even reinstalled my whole os and reinstalled 6.4 on 10.3.2 then i put that last cs thingy they dropped on there. still it acts up. sometimes it says cant find the hardware and other times it launches and then the dae starts acting up. can someone give me a few tips on getting my system back working. yours truely mr sad face

i did. sometimes the card isnt there. when it is the test come back fine. i just switched the card to slot 5 well see how she does there.

actually.. the cs3 version of 6.4.1 says you can use 10.3.2 or 10.3.4, but since u changed the mix core to the slot furthest from the graphics card (slot 5) its seems to work fine thansk for your help.
