I had a similar choice, but for me the manual D5 was cheaper monthly than the geartronic. Residuals have a big impact on lease costs and sometimes the higher specced car can actualy be cheaper. In my circumstances the standard R-Design with a few options was definately the best choice, but whatever you end up with, I'm sure you'll like it.
