the problem has never required more than a reboot. once i shut the computer down and relaunch, the session opens no problem. if you do have a corrupt session, i would suggest creating a new session at the right bit rate and sampling frequency, and then use the "import session data" to try bringing in your tracks from your other session that wont' open.
